With qualifications and experience spanning both disciplines, our team approaches every project holistically, shaping the bones of the building and the layers within it as one complete story. Working with a small number of clients each year allows us to remain deeply involved in the design journey, guiding every decision with care. The result is a home that feels calm, cohesive and quietly luxurious - a home that settles around you like it was always meant to be there.
MEET ANGELA STEYN

Angela is the principal interior designer and founder of AS&CO. After beginning her career as a lawyer, Angela realised her heart belonged in the creative world. Design offered something deeper - an opportunity to create homes that influence how people live, feel and connect.
Growing up on her family’s sheep and cattle property, Angela’s childhood was spent amongst the gums and wattle. That early connection to land, nature and quiet beauty still informs her work today, drawing her instinctively toward natural materials, authenticity and spaces that feel grounded and real.
With more than fifteen years of experience, Angela is known for her calm, considered approach. She believes a home should feel personal and deeply lived in - a place that quietly supports the rhythms of everyday life.
MEET ANDRE STEYN
Designer

Originally trained and registered as an architect in South Africa, Andre’s early education was steeped in the principles of mid-century modernism and the work of Frank Lloyd Wright - an influence that still shapes his thinking today. His design approach is grounded in the belief that buildings should feel organic and deeply connected to their surroundings.
After relocating to Sydney, Andre has spent more than two decades refining his craft across architecture, design and construction. He is particularly passionate about the way architecture and interiors work together as one cohesive whole, ensuring that the bones of a home and the spaces within it speak the same language
A highly skilled 3D CAD and BIM practitioner, Andre has an extraordinary ability to visualise possibilities within a space and loves surprising clients with ideas they never imagined possible.
