An iconic beachside suburb with a relaxed surfer culture formed the mood for this new build.  Our brief was for a contemporary coastal take on mid-century design, affording our clients a stylish yet easy lifestyle.  Working with a steep hillside block and south facing ocean views, we used deconstructivist philosophy in an attempt to find a design language that would solve the challenges presented by the site.  Our aim was to create a house that truly belongs in it’s location, completely unique in form and position.
